The other night I awoke with the same words repeating in my head. It was the voice of Sir Winston Churchill, speaking in 1940. The words I heard were, “This was their finest hour.” I have been praying about this, and believe that the Lord is speaking to us today. Church, this is your finest hour, and we must rise to the occasion in the face of a new onslaught of evil. God has given us the answers to every human problem. As the darkness around us deepens, we are going to be walking in greater light. As I listened to the speech, I have to confess I felt that it was timely. There are several versions of this on Youtube, but this is the only one that puts the text on the screen and plays at the correct speed. Please forgive the typos.

It is so humbling to see how God keeps using the red envelope.

I am reminded of Psalm 110:3, “Many will volunteer in the day of your power.”

Over the past three years I have had a number of encounters with angels. I write about 2 of these experiences in my book The Glory of a Wasted Life. About 2 weeks ago I stumbled on a number of videos claiming to capture angels on tape. It is the firm belief of this writer that angelic activity is increasing, as we enter into one of the greatest transitions in human history.

Now I am a little more jaded than the average bear, so I was immediately skeptical. But, compared to what I saw in real life (and in one instance witnessed by a friend), I have to say these videos look like angels.

The first was filmed in Honduras. A quick caveat, I don’t claim that this is actual footage of an angel. It just looks like the angels I have seen. One part of this clip that gives me pause is how the angel seems to follow the camera movement. If it’s a hoax, then it was created by someone who knew how angels look.

The second clip is also from Latin America, and is somewhat less dramatic, but is also a pretty accurate depiction of an angel. Once again, I can’t say if this is real footage that has not been doctored.

I have saved the best for last. Here is a clip of a guy who sees an angel. His response is priceless. If nothing else, this is one more sign to me that a supernatural worldview is key to understanding what’s happening all around us.
