Trauma kills your creativity.
Artists are often the most traumatized people I meet.
In my new book I share my model of prayer for trauma.
Over 50 people have been healed through this prayer.

I'm not selling books.
God called me to
raise up an army of artists.
Raising up
was not about recruitment.
It is about lifting artists
out of brokenness,
poverty,
and failure,
and into mature discipleship.
I write books to raise people up.
Full stop.
Online censorship is a many headed-hydra
that killed my book launch earlier this year.
And there are a lot of smarmy Christians
trying to sell you things all the time.
People have become jaded,
and if I push too hard folks think
I am just another snake oil salesman
wrapped in a flag
and carrying a Bible.
I'm not.
It's not about selling books.
Nine months ago
I released a book.
It only sold 100 copies.
I needed to sell 500 to break even.
Today the audio book went live.
I need to sell a lot to break even again.
It has been a long journey.
