The Best is Ahead
Here is the first chapter of Artists at a Shift in Time to sample.
Thank you for your prayers.
This is an uneasy moment.
Do you feel it?
There have been many delays on my audio book project.
And since today was the latest launch date,
and we have missed it,
I thought I would pause the series on going open source.
How do you live at ease
in a time of uneasiness?
You need an eternal perspective.
Today is All Saints Day,
and if nothing else,
it is a reminder
that this life is not it.
There is a lot more than this life.
You need a heavenly perspective,
and you need to look up.
Look up.
If you are an artist for the kingdom,
your work is not the end.
This life is just the beginning,
a dress rehearsal,
for the real life that is to come.
And your work in this world
needs to reflect that unseen becoming.
Not only are you called to bring
heaven's ideas to earth,
but your best work is ahead.
Your job is to live there here.
Your best days are ahead not behind.
Your best work is ahead not behind.
The Kingdom is present-future.
Your fullness of maturity is ahead not behind.
Your full knowledge of God
is ahead not behind.
You best is ahead not behind.
Dream big
and let go of your limitations.
And when you get free of an earthbound perspective,
you begin to see what's happening
right now
from God's point of view.
God knows about now.
God knows about your trouble.
God knows about your health.
God knows about the unexpected bill,
the bad diagnosis,
the loss of a relationship.
God is not surprised by anything.
This is why I say
Fear not,
God can be trusted.
He Never Fails,
